Culver City School District gets a New Superintendent

Martin Feinberg, Realtor, has always been impressed with Culver City area schools. That is true again today, as the Governing Board of the Culver City Unified School District has selected Joshua Arnold, Ed. D., as the new District Superintendent.  According to Board President Dr. Steven Levin, “We had a number of amazing candidates to choose from, and the Board was unanimous in choosing Dr. Arnold.”

Dr. Arnold earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in English from UCLA and then went on to receive his Masters in Organizational Leadership from Harvard and a Doctorate in Education from USC. He originally began his career as an English teacher in the Los Angeles Unified and Santa Monica-Malibu Unified school districts before becoming a principal at Crenshaw Arts Tech Charter High and Los Alamitos High School.

Currently, Dr. Arnold serves as the Assistant Superintendent of Education Services in the Los Alamitos Unified School District in north Orange County. He is known for having a wonderful relationship with students, teachers, and families whether they are involved with Pre-Kindergarten or dealing with the issues that come with the last year of High School.   He has spent his time there creating professional development programs and a culture of collaboration.

Dr. Arnold, his wife Claire, and their two children–Isabella (4) and Anthony (2)–are excited to join the Culver City community. They enjoy traveling, eating out, and being outdoors. Martin Feinberg Culver City Realtor knows that Culver City is the perfect place for such a family.

Anyone who would like to welcome Dr. Arnold to Culver City can write to him at josharnold@ccusd.org. As Dr. Levin said, “He is a terrific, charismatic leader who will lead CCUSD in the right direction, deepening our commitment to the values and strategies which make this a great school district.” Those same values are also what make Culver City Real Estate amazing as well.
