Culver City’s “Reach For Rainbows” Annual Fundraiser

Looking for a great cause to get involved with? Well, Culver City locals can help “Reach for Rainbows” at the yearly fundraiser put on by the Sandy Segal Youth Health Center. The group’s main fundraiser will be located at the Hilton’s Double Tree Hotel, in Culver City, on February 20th. There will be two honorees this year: John Riordan, who owns John Riordan Plumbing, Inc. and The Culver City Woman’s Club.

Both John Riordan and the Woman’s Club have majorly contributed to the Culver City community for over ten years. Not only have they generously donated money through the decade, they have but also supported many local events. Their countless efforts have assisted several families, through Reach for Rainbows, and given them both optimism and hope.

The event will start with a silent auction at 5:30pm and guests can enjoy Ronnie Jayne’s music. For those of you who do not know, Ronnie is a recognized Culver City entertainer and long time Culver City resident. The evening will continue with a cash bar, dinner, and a live auction.

The event will also pay tribute to Andy Alexander, who passed in 2015. Alexander was known to be a wonderful force who established the Health Center. She is also known for vigorously fundraising for the center, over the years.

So, as your trusted Culver City Realtor, assisting both buyers and sellers with Culver City Condos for sale and Culver City homes for sale, I can guarantee that this evening in Culver City will be a great time.

How much does it cost to attend the event, you ask? Prices are $100 per person. But hurry, that price is only good until February 13th. Ticket prices at the door will increase to $110. Not to worry, Your money will go to a great cause. All of the proceeds will be donated to the Sandy Segal Youth Health Center.

Side note: Did you know that the Health Center is located on the campus of Culver City Middle School and Culver City High School? It is run by the Venice Family Clinic. The center offers free and quality medical care for the students of Culver City. They provide a wide range of medical services such as on-going care for illnesses, immunizations, tests for hearing and vision and physicals. They also provide prescription medications and address several mental health issues.
