Spirit Halloween Brings Fun and Funding for Children to Culver City

Image is the Spirit Halloween logo.October is right around the corner, and local listing agent Martin Feinberg knows that many people in the Culver City Real Estate area will be gearing up for Halloween in the next few weeks.  Luckily, a Spirit Halloween Store is now open in Culver City to help with decorations and costume ideas.

Spirit Halloween stores pop up in different cities and towns across the United States in September and October, typically taking over locations recently vacated by other stores.  They stay through Halloween before disappearing again until next year, selling hundreds of accessories and decorations for Halloween while they are there.

Most people don’t know though that Spirit Halloween stores also accept donations as part of their annual “Spirit of Children” program.  Martin Feinberg, Realtor, notes that this program provides funding for children in hospitals across the country and raises millions of dollars each year.

According to the Spirit Halloween website, “Since 2007, Spirit of Children has raised $55 million to provide Child Life funding for art, music, aquatic and pet therapy programs as well as the purchase of educational items and toys used for distraction during medical procedures, and much more. 100% of every dollar donated supports the Child Life Department in our 141 partner hospitals across the United States and Canada.”

The Spirit Halloween store in Culver City is located this year at 3875 Overland Ave. It can also be reached at (866) 586-0155.  There is another store in Marina Del Rey at 13450 Maxella Ave Ste 240, for those closer to that area.
