One of the things that makes Culver City Real Estate a wonderful place to look for a home are the many organizations that serve the local community. One such group, The Culver City Woman’s Club, is holding a Yard Sale this Friday and Saturday, January 27-28, from 8 am to 4 pm at 3547 Federal Ave, Los Angeles 90066.
The huge Yard Sale will include a large selection of household items, clothing, shoes, books, and jewelry. All proceeds will go to the Culver-Palms Meals on Wheels, which provide affordable and nutritious meals to those who are confined to their homes because of illness, accident, or age.
Meals on Wheels originated in the United Kingdom during World War II and eventually made its way to the United States and California in the 1950s and 1960s. Culver-Palms Meals on Wheels has been serving the Southern California community for over 40 years. Martin Feinberg Culver City Realtor has seen the good work that they do for the area.
Likewise, the Culver City Woman’s Club has also done many good things for the community, including a gift-wrapping booth this last holiday season that raised money for scholarships for Culver City High School Students. The Club is a non-profit social and philanthropic organization that supports many local charitable organizations. It welcomes guests to all events, including a monthly business meeting and lunch, which takes place at the Fellowship Hall of the Culver Palms Methodist Church at 4464 Sepulveda Blvd in Culver City.
Anyone who is contemplating moving to Culver City should contact Martin Feinberg, Realtor, to find out what else the area has to offer.
