Martin Feinberg, Realtor, is happy to learn that the 16thannual Culver City Car Show will be returning to Veteran’s Memorial Park at 4117 Overland Ave. in Culver City on Saturday May 11. The show opens at 8 a.m. and will close at 6 p.m.
According to the Culver City Car Show website, “The Culver City Car Show is put together by The Culver City Exchange Club – an all-volunteer, national service organization of men and women who serve their community, develop leadership skills, and enjoy new friendships.”
Culver City Exchange Club members “reside, own businesses, and/or work” in the Culver City Real Estate area.
“They are committed to providing the citizens of Culver City and the surrounding area a better place to live by providing funding for community-based organizations. In addition to the Culver City Car Show, we also produce the annual Culver City 4th of July Fireworks Show and a Children’s Disability Carnival in the fall.”
The Culver City Car Show is a family friendly event that features classic autos, auto-related vendors, food trucks, a beer garden, and live music. The show is free to the public and will take place regardless of the weather.
The annual car show is a way for Culver City Exchange Club members to raise money to fund the prevention of child abuse and support local youth programs such as the Sandy Segal Youth Health Center, the Y.M.C.A, The West Los Angeles College Student Food Bank, and the annual award of college scholarships to deserving Culver High School students. Last year the Culver City Car Show helped fund more than 20 college scholarships.
Visitors to the event should park at Sony Pictures Entertainment and avoid parking in the residential area surrounding the park. No dogs or unpermitted consumption of liquor are allowed in the park. Martin Feinberg, Culver City Realtor, encourages those interested in registering a car for the car show to do so quickly. Registration is available online and is limited to 400 vehicles. First come, first entered.
