House of Fitness, the premier personal training gym in Culver City, is pleased to announce that they will be hosting their first Thanksgiving Food Drive, on November 26th 2015. As your Culver City Realtor serving all your Culver Real Estate needs, I urge you to collect any food in your homes that is non-perishable, or perhaps purchase a few canned goods at the grocery store, and donate. All donations will go to Saint Augustine Volunteer Emergency Services, also known as S.A.V.E.S.
Saint Augustine Volunteer Emergency Services was founded in 1973 and has been an integral part of the Culver City community ever since. S.A.V.E.S is Culver’s only food pantry that has helped approximately 11,350 households, which includes nearly 22,470 adults and 33,830 children.
House of Fitness’ founder, Thomas Plejer, believes that S.A.V.E.S. is extremely special to Culver City and it is imperative that we all help and support such a wonderful local cause and organization.
During the month of November, House of Fitness is asking its members to bring non-perishable food items into their lobby as often as possible. Their hope is that every time someone comes-in to work out, they will donate.
There is a fun twist. Anytime someone donates, they will receive a raffle ticket. They will announce the winner of the raffle after Thanksgiving. The prize you ask? Official House of Fitness gear in a snazzy HOF gym bag.
In addition to food donations, House of Fitness plans to make cash donations to Saint Augustine Volunteer Emergency Services, spreading a little extra holiday spirit.
House of Fitness is a premier gym offering personal training sessions to individuals on all fitness levels. Members can work out on their own or chose to partake in private personal training. Group classes such as cycling are available as well. Upon joining HOF, you receive a complete evaluation and individualized program designed to your individual needs.
