According to the Culver Arts website, “The Culver City Arts Foundation is a charitable nonprofit that works with the city, its residents, and its businesses to support programs and projects that inspire the public and that help creative turn dreams into reality. The Foundation has a Memorandum of Understanding with the City enabling it to raise funds for projects in the City’s Cultural Affairs Annual Work Plan. It accepts grants, corporate contributions, and individual donations in support of performances, artist grants, historic preservation, major capital projects, and much more.”

The funds for the Art Foundation were raised at Tito’s Tacos celebration of National Taco Day and Nation Vodka Day on October 4. Over $10,000 was raised through the sale of tacos, drinks, and other merchandise, which was matched by Tito’s Vodka with another $10,000 donation making the grand total well over $20,000 for the Culver City Real Estate area foundation. City of Culver City co-sponsored the event.

Local listing agent Martin Feinberg notes that the October event was attended by over a thousand people who purchased over 30,000 tacos, in addition to vodka, other drinks, and other donated food items.
